NEW YORK, Nov. 16 ~PRNewswire~ -- The first ever airline-sponsored Environment Fair will be hosted Thursday, Nov. 19th by British Airways at its North American headquarters in Queens.

The Fair will feature a multitude of exhibits by the airline's various departments in USA and Britain, plus major vendors and suppliers such as General Electric Aircraft Engines, Rolls-Royce Inc., AT&T, IBM, Con Ed, Amerada Hess, Texaco, Forte Airport Services, Hudson General Corp., African Fund for Endangered Wildlife, Inc., Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund, Sierra Club, Earthwatch and many others.
British Airways also has recently published its annual Environment Report -- the only airline to do so -- for 1992 in which the airline deals with the issues of noise, emissions, congestion and tourism.
