AIR MILES PROGRAM ANNOUNCES FORD AND PROCTER & GAMBLE AS ADDITIONAL SPONSORS; 150,000 MEMBERS ENROLLED IN FIRST THREE WEEKS OF PROGRAM
 BOSTON, May 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Loyalty Management Group announced today the addition of Procter & Gamble and Ford Motor Company as participating sponsors in the AIR MILES(R) program. The AIR MILES program is a unique new frequent buyer program launched earlier this month.
 Ford's participation in the program will include offering AIR MILES members miles for test driving any Ford Division vehicle. Details of Procter & Gamble's participation are not yet available.
 "We are delighted to sign these two industry leaders as AIR MILES sponsors," said Keith Mills, chairman of Loyalty Management Group. "With the addition of Ford and Procter & Gamble, AIR MILES collectors will have even more opportunities to collect miles toward a free trip."
 Separately, the company announced that it had already enrolled 150,000 consumers in the program. "We have been thrilled with the initial consumer response to the AIR MILES program," said Mills. "In the upcoming months, we expect to enroll several million consumers through both consumer advertising and various sponsor programs." Loyalty Management Group kicked off its $30 million advertising campaign with network television and targeted print advertising in national magazines and newspapers on April 9. The company anticipates that more than 5 million consumers will begin collecting with AIR MILES by the end of its first year.
 The AIR MILES program offers free travel rewards to consumers who purchase everyday products and services from leading companies. Sponsors already participating in the AIR MILES program include AT&T, Cellular One(R)-Chicago, Citibank Visa(R), and MasterCard(R), The Clorox(R) Company, Frito-Lay(R), General Cinema Theatres, Hertz, Hyatt Hotels and Resorts(R), Lenscrafters(R), Pfaelzer Brothers, PRODIGY(R) and Time Inc. Magazines. Every mile earned in the program is good for one mile of air travel on American Airlines, United Airlines, USAir, and Air Canada.
 Membership in the AIR MILES program is free. Consumers can enroll by calling 1-800-547-2212. AIR MILES will send a complete membership kit which includes all the details of how the program operates, how to collect and redeem miles, as well as information on specific sponsor offers.
