 REGISTRATION: AFA News Room, located in the hotel's Idaho Room on
 the Convention Center's lobby level: Monday and
 Tuesday (Sept. 14, 15), 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Wednesday
 (Sept. 16), 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
 News media must show valid credentials -- Congressional Gallery pass or Pentagon press pass or the equivalent. If you are on assignment for another publication or are freelancing or researching, you must have a letter indicating this from the publication's editor along with photo identification. Media identification badges will be issued in the News Room.

 -- Address to AFA Delegates by Gen. Colin L. Powell, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Monday, Sept. 14, at 3:30 p.m. in the Cotillion Room. Television crews -- please set up prior to the 2:30 p.m. start of the AFA Business Session.
 -- Media briefing by Gen. Ronald W. Yates, commander, Air Force Materiel Command, Tuesday, Sept. 15, at 9 a.m. in the Maryland Suite.
 -- Luncheon Address by Hon. Donald B. Rice, secretary of the Air Force, Tuesday, Sept. 15, in the Sheraton Washington Ballroom. Luncheon and program will be held from noon-2 p.m.
 -- Press Conference, Tuesday, Sept. 15, by Secretary of the Air Force Donald B. Rice and Chief of Staff Gen. Merrill A. McPeak, 2 p.m., Virginia Suite.
 -- Luncheon Address by McPeak, Wednesday, Sept. 16, in the Sheraton Washington Ballroom. Luncheon and program will be held from noon-2 p.m.
 -- Briefings and displays will be open in the exhibit halls on Monday, Sept. 14, Tuesday, Sept. 15, and Wednesday, Sept. 16, from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.
