 AIR CANADA CELEBRATES CANADA'S 125TH
BIRTHDAY WITH SPECIAL FARES FROM MIAMI TO ONTARIO
MIAMI, June 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Air Canada is extending the validity dates of its super low fares to Toronto and to Ottawa introduced earlier this year, that reflect discounts of up to almost 70 percent off the regular coach fares from Miami.
Until Aug. 30, 1992, Toronto-destined passengers can travel for $236 round trip (Ottawa -- $253) and from Aug. 31 to Oct. 4, 1992, for $203 (Ottawa -- $219). Restrictions include seven-day non-refundable ticket purchase and two weeks minimum stay.
Celebrating its 125th anniversary of Confederation this year, Canada is alive with special events and activities, many centered in Toronto, Canada's largest city, and in Ottawa, the country's capital city. A wide variety of packaged tours to both cities include a Yankee Holidays "Toronto Experience" package priced from $108 per person (plus air fare) which includes two nights accommodation and a city sightseeing tour. Other packages also include meals and tickets from a choice of the myriad of theaters in Toronto which offers the second largest number of live theater productions in North America. Tours are also available to Niagara Falls. In late July, Toronto's famed 14-day Caribana festival which celebrates the Caribbean experience, will mark its 25th anniversary with a non-stop "jump-up."
Air Canada operates three non-stop flights daily from Miami to Toronto where easy connections are available to Ottawa and to major cities throughout Canada.
Additional information and bookings are available through travel agents or by calling Air Canada at 800-776-3000.
