 PITTSBURGH, Nov. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- The Clean Air Act Amendments of 1990 require many industries to keep track of the kinds and amounts of pollutants they release. "Continuous Emission Monitoring -- A Technology for the '90s" will be held Nov. 9-11 at the Sheraton Hotel in Chicago. The meeting is sponsored by the Air & Waste Management Association.
 Papers will cover:
 -- CEM applications for allowance trading;
 -- CEM regulatory issues;
 -- Continuous measurement of organic compounds and air toxics;
 -- Data acquisition systems and reporting; and
 -- New techniques and applications.
 Two one-day continuing education courses and an exhibition of related instrumentation and consultant services complement the conference.
 The Air & Waste Management Assocaition provides a neutral forum where environmental professionals share technical and managerial information about air pollution control and waste management. This wordlwide network of more than 13,000 members represents all disciplines and provides all viewpoints of environmental issues.
