AIOUs admissions from February 1.
ISLAMABAD -- Allama Iqbal Open University(AIOU) will open its Matric to Ph. D level admissions for the Semester Spring, 2018 from February 1 simultaneously across the country.
Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Shahid Siddiqui has approved an admission plan that includes setting up prospectus sale points at its main campus, regional and coordinating offices throughout the country.
?He also directed the Admission Department to provide maximum facilities to the applicants in taking the admission in their desired discipline as well as ensuring availability of admission forms at nearest places.
?He also advised all regional directors to set up special camp at their offices for the guidance of the students. He assured the applicants that proposals and complaints will be properly addressed.
?For this purpose, Information and Complaint Centre at the main campus has been activated.
?Admission forms and prospectuses could be obtained from the sale points at main campus, Regional Campuses and Coordinating Offices around the country.
??Admission forms along with the required fee can be submitted at the nation-wide branches of Habib Bank Ltd, First Women Bank, Bank Alfalah, Allied Bank and at the designated branches of National Bank of Pakistan and Muslim Commercial Bank.
?The detail of designated branches is available in the prospectuses as well as in the Regional Offices. Director Admissions advised the students to submit their fee in the bank by their own. He further said that fee in shape of bank draft/pay order will not be accepted.
?Continuing admission forms are being dispatched to the continuing students, however, if somehow any of student will not receive the said admission form till the 2nd week of Feb,
he/she can download the same from the AIOU website www. aiou. edu. pk and lt;http://www.aiou.edu.pk and gt; and submit in any designate bank branch with fee till due date to avoid late fee charges.
