AIM admission for Internet provider.

A team from Arthur Andersen Corporate Finance in Birmingham has been advising Internet professional services provider Advance Visual Communications on its fund-raising and admission to AIM.

The company is raising pounds 5 million through a placing and shareholder offer. The company will move to AIM from OFEX, which it joined in March 1998.

The fund raising values AVC, which has offices in Bradford, London, Geneva and the South of France, at pounds 15 million.

The company will use the proceeds to develop a wider presence in the rapidly-growing European internet professional services market, by acquiring existing businesses and opening new offices in key cities. Its clients include Tag Heuer, Union Bancaire Privee, Channel 4, the BBC, Adidas, the DTI, Reuters, Royal & Sun Alliance and the European Patent Office.
