AICPA yearend tax planning products available.

The AICPA issued three products designed to help CPAs provide tax planning advice to clients and civic and community groups through December 1992. To order, call the AICPA order department at (800) TO-AICPA.

* Twenty-one Tax-Saving Tips for 1992 (product no. 890658). This brochure outlines actions and strategies that can reduce 1992 tax bills for individuals. It also includes a summary of recent tax changes and a chart of 1992 tax rates. It can be placed in a CPA firm reception area or used as a promotional tool for potential or existing clients. The cost is $20 for 100 brochures.

* Year-End Tax Planning: Covering All the Bases (product no. 889523). This slide presentation comes with 34 color slides and a script and is intended for general audiences. Topics include basic tax-saving strategies and specific actions that can help individuals reduce tax liability. The first set costs $140, and each additional set costs $70. No returns will be accepted.

* Tax-Trimming Tips for 1992 (product no. 890666). This 25'minute speech is designed for CPAs to deliver to general audiences. It summarizes recent tax changes and provides tips to help individuals lower taxable income and maximize itemized deductions. The speech comes with a 20-question media guide with questions similar to those CPAs receive on talk shows or in interviews with reporters. The cost is $4.50 per copy.
