AICPA introduces first CD-ROM product.

The AICPA National Automated Accounting Research System (NAARS) database, with more than 4,000 entries, has long been a popular resource for accountants conducting on-line searches of annual reports.

Now this database is available on compact disk through CD-NAARS, the AICPA'S first CD-ROIVI product. With a fixed-term subscription to CD-NAARS, CPAS can conduct unlimited searches of annual reports in the database without incurring time charges and multiple search fees. Subscribers also receive quarterly update disks containing the latest annual reports as they become available. In addition, they receive a special bonus of 4,000 1991 annual reports that can be used to make comparisons.

CD-NAARS is available at special introductory prices of $1,495 for the single-user version product no. G01036JA) and $2,995 for the network version, which can serve 2 to 10 users (product no. G01038JA). The discount price for colleges and universities is $995 for the single-user version (product no. G01037JA) and $2,395 for the network version (product no. G01039JA). The products can be obtained by calling the AICPA order department at 1-800-TO-AICPA.
