AICPA council and annual meeting held in Washington, D.C.

Jake L. Netterville, managing partner of Postlethwaite & Netterville, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, was elected chairman of the AICPA board of directors at the Institute's council meeting in October in Washington, D.C. Dominic A. Tarantino, cochairman-managing partner of Price Waterhouse in New York was elected vice-chairman of the board. Also elected were Louis J. Barbich of California, Ellen J. Feaver of Montana, J. Curt Mingle of Illinois, A. Tom Nelson of Utah and Eric J. Schindler of Washington to serve three-year terms as directors.

In his inaugural address, Netterville reviewed several issues that would receive high priority during his term as chairman, including liability reform, woman and family issues, the key person program and relations with state societies (see page 86).
