AICPA Small Business Practitioners' Tax Forum

The AICPA Small Business Practitioners' Tax Forum is a valuable new conference, one developed by practitioners for practitioners. Its focus is to help members serve as true advisers to small business clients in the tax area. This forum is not about tax theory or big business; it will feature practical, timely and straightforward information in a number of areas that will help you save your clients tax dollars and provide a better service to them.

Today's extraordinarily competitive marketplace requires you to compete not just with other accountants, but also with many non-CPAs. In this environment, you set yourself apart from the average service provider not only by knowing the tax law, but by being able to identify and solve problems before they become the issue that drives your client elsewhere. Taking this proactive, consultative approach is what will maintain and grow your practice.

The structure of this conference provides the opportunity to focus on a business's lifecycle as well as to spend some extended time on industry-specific issues. The main conference has a recommended 17 CPE credits and up to 4 CPE credits for the optional workshops.

The forum takes place July 19-20 (optional pre-conference workshops will be held Sunday, July 18) at the Boston Marriott Long Wharf in Boston.
