LITTLETON, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 9, 2002

The Alliance for Industry Analyst Relations Optimization, "AIARO", today launched its analyst relations portal, www.aiaro.com, which provides an online environment for industry professionals and research analysts to work together and keep apprised of the latest developments in analyst relations.

Founded in 2001 in Littleton, Colorado, AIARO (pronounced "arrow") is an inclusive organization, formed for the purpose of enhancing analyst relations between research firms such as Gartner and Forrester and their wide audiences.

"Free to the public, many portions of the portal require no membership or login," explained Andrea Johnston, AIARO founder and president. "For example, there are `communities' for competitive intelligence, investor relations, marketing and public relations. Professionals from all these groups are welcome to collaborate with peers and share ideas without a membership."

Additionally, resources are recommended from analyst relations consulting providers, such as the Kensington Group, Tekrati, SageCircle and the Knowledge Capital Group. Latest developments of the Analyst Relations Professionals Association, "ARPA", are promoted on the site along with other breakthroughs important to the growing community of analyst relations professionals.

For an annual fee, each member organization is allocated a subportal on the site. From there, members can publish announcements, case studies, white papers, awards and press releases, specifically for industry analysts to view. Likewise, research firms are provided subportals for their analysts to utilize resources and collaborate with AIARO members.

"Especially for companies that have not yet published analyst relations pages on their Web sites, AIARO subportals are a quick and simple option," Johnston continued. "Our 3-step process streamlines implementation for new organizations, so they gain access to their sites within 15 to 30 days of registration."

For industry analysts, AIARO's member postings are centralized for easy access. Future plans for analyst pages include areas dedicated to vertical industries, topics and geographies.

"We hope AIARO's open forum will foster a wide variety of interactions among professionals from the corporate world, research analysts, and various stakeholders in the extended analyst relations community," Johnston said. "We welcome anyone interested in analyst relations to visit the site, take our online tour, and share needs and opinions for making the site most effective."
