AIA President and CEO Pusey steps down.

AMERICAN INSURANCE ASSOCIATION

THE AMERICAN Insurance Association (AIA) announced that president and CEO Leigh Ann Pusey will be stepping down on June 9 to pursue another career opportunity. Pusey has served as CEO since 2009; she joined AIA 20 years ago, and held several key positions in the organization including COO.

During the transitional period, Pusey will work closely with J. Stephen "Stef" Zielezienski, AIA senior vice president and general counsel, and Joe DiGiovanni, senior vice president for state affairs.

"It has been a tremendous privilege to lead AIA for the past eight years," said Pusey. "I look forward to watching AIA as it continues to lead our industry's advocacy efforts."
