AHG eyes massive plans for 2013.
Undertaken by the Government of Ras Al Khaimah, the first phase group will launch two Diabetes Centers, a Specialised Eye Center and a Comprehensive Rehabilitation Center.
"RAK Hospital, which is built, commissioned and managed by Arabian Healthcare Group (AHG), is an exemplary showcase project that ranks among the few luxury hospitals in the world that seamlessly blends premium hospitality with world-class healthcare," said Raza Siddiqui, CEO, Arabian Healthcare Group.
"Expanding its tradition of fostering excellence in healthcare laterally, these stand-alone Specialty Medical Centres will focus on the management of diabetes, eye care and rehabilitation. These centres will go a long way in expanding the AHG's physical reach and volume capacity to meet the rising demand for quality healthcare services in UAE and the Middle East."
A one-of-its-kind concept with state-of-the-art facility, the centers to be launched at Dubai and Ras Al Khaimah will specialise in high-tech, evidence-based diabetes care, research, training and public health, a statement from AHG said.
The treatment at the centre will allow the highest level of specialised patient care from first diagnosis to the management of all the complications associated with diabetes. With a mission to increase awareness, education and reduce incidences of diabetes, the center will focus on providing people with diabetes complete care, education and support, the statement said.
In association with renowned LV Prasad Eye Institute India, AHG is developing a specialised eye center that will deal with the diagnosis and management of complex medical and surgical eye disease; and serve as a key provider of routine eye care and refractive, optical, cosmetic, and eye trauma services for the region.
With unique facilities, the upcoming rehabilitation center would be a comprehensive rehabilitation facility encompassing the entire range of rehabilitation-related services (both inpatient and outpatient) across various subspecialties and catering to different age groups ranging from Pediatrics to Geriatrics. The services provided would encompass the entire gamut of rehabilitation subspecialties under one roof to meet the needs of both inpatients and outpatients, it said. - TradeArabia News Service
