AFMA names chairman.

AFMA Names Chairman

The American Fiber Manufacturers Association, Washington, D.C., recently named Tom Shealy, vice president and general manager-fibers at Eastman Chemical, chairman of the board. R.J. Stripling, Jr., president, Phillips Fibers, was chosen vice chairman and chairman of the executive committee and Earl Brasfield, group vice president at Monsanto Chemical, was named treasurer.

Other members of the executive committee are Charles Green, North American Rayon, Wayne Godwin, BASF Fibers, John Krol, Textile Fibers Group, Du Pont and Joseph Patterson, Fibers and Film, Hoechst Celanese.
