 CINCINNATI, Jan. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- The Procter & Gamble Company (NYSE: PG), in response to a story in today's Wall Street Journal, issued a statement today that the Company does not capitalize advertising costs in the United States and that the rule change proposed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants will not affect Company profits.
