ADVANCE CIRCUITS, INC., AND PRECISION DIVERSIFIED, INC. ANNOUNCE DEVELOPMENT OF BUSINESS ALLIANCE

MINNETONKA, Minn., Jan. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Advance Circuits, Inc. (NASDAQ-NMS: ADVC) (ACI), Minnetonka-based manufacturer of interconnect products announced today the formation of a business alliance with Precision Diversified Industries, Inc. (PDI), located in Plymouth, Minn. Orders from ACI's customers which are small quantity and quick turn delivery requirements will be subcontracted to PDI for manufacturing. Robert Heller, CEO for ACI, explained that the relationship is analogous to the alliance between Northwest Air Link and Northwest Air Lines where Northwest Air Link carries passengers developed through the Northwest Air Lines system.
The new service is being named Advance Circuits Express (ACE). Advance Circuits will review and process initial customer data. The processed data will then be used to manufacture the jobs at PDI. PDI will be linked to ACI's Management Information System so up-to-date job processing status is available to both companies. In addition, both companies are working towards comparable quality systems, manufacturing processes, and technology road maps. Ron Bakken, VP/General Manager for PDI, stated that this alliance will give customers "design to market response needs" that are now required in both small volume and large volume printed circuit board production. Bakken views the additional work created by the power of the ACI sales force as a significant boost in meeting PDI's projected growth.
Advance Circuits' common stock is traded on the NASDAQ National Market System under the symbol ADVC.
