DEMAND for the only Cunard Line cruise running in and out of Liverpool this year has been so great that extra cabins are available for MS Queen Victoria's sailings here in May.

Cunard's Queen Victoria will stay overnight at Liverpool Cruise Terminal on May 30-31, 2014, for the centenary of Cunard's 1914 superliner RMS Aquitania's maiden voyage from Liverpool to New York.

ECHO Holidays, in association with Liverpool Cruise Club, have berths available for readers on this split round-UK cruise by Queen Victoria.

Passengers leave Liverpool by coach on May 23 for Southampton to board the liner.

The seven-night northbound cruise calls at South Queensferry (for Edinburgh); Invergordon (for Highlands); Kirkwall, Orkney Islands; Greenock (for Glasgow); disembarking at Liverpool. Fares start with inside cabins at PS799 per person, outside cabins from PS969pp, balcony cabins from PS1,139pp.

Those boarding at Liverpool Cruise Terminal on May 30 have one night in Liverpool for the Aquitania celebrations, including fireworks.

The six-night southbound cruise calls at Dublin, Cobh (for Cork) and St Peter Port, Guernsey, disembarking at Southampton with a coach return to Liverpool. Inside cabins from PS699pp, outsides from PS849pp, balconies from PS999pp.
