Rabat - The African Development Bank (ADB) loaned Morocco, on Thursday, 53.59 million euros to fund national irrigation programme. AaAaAa The loan will finance irrigation infrastructure in the basins of Oum Rbia, Moulouya and Loukous benefiting 30,000 people.AaAaAa The national programme of irrigation is meant to improve the living conditions of rural population notably through improving the management of natural sources.AaAaAa The loan agreement was signed, by Finance Minister Salaheddine Mezouar and ADB's Representative in Morocco Amani Abou-Zeid in the presence of Agriculture Minister Aziz Akhannouch.
