ADB declares pace and standard of BRT Peshawar project as `Satisfactory'.
PESHAWAR -- Asian Development Bank (ADB), main financer of the ongoing Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project in Peshawar, has declared the pace and standard of the mega project as `satisfactory'.
A team comprising of experts of ADB Wednesday visited different sections of BRT project and expressed satisfaction over pace and quality of work, says a press release issued here by Peshawar Development Authority.
The ADB team also held out assurance of continuing cooperation in future for improvement in infrastructure of Peshawar and for provision of better civic facilities to the people.
The team members also visited different stations of BRT. During meeting with concerned officials, Peshawar Development Authority (PDA) representatives made presentation about BRT and assured about completion of the project in time.
During the briefing, ADB team was informed that corridor has been completed while work on stations is in progress round the clock.
The ADB team expressed satisfaction over pace of work and expressed the hope that project will be completed soon for public.
