ADAMS TO MEET BERTIE.

Byline: By GRAHAM BARDGETT

SINN Fein president Gerry Adams is set to lead a party delegation to meet Taoiseach Bertie Ahern in Dublin on Friday.

Last night, the party's chief negotiator Martin McGuinness said: "If progress is to be made it is crucial that momentum is increased."

But he added that "rejectionist unionists" must not be allowed to dictate the pace to the British and Irish governments.

Meanwhile, British Prime Minister Tony Blair has been told by DUP leader Dr Ian Paisley that he must "move speedily on delivering confidence building measures for unionists".
