ACX TECHNOLOGIES' SAN ANTONIO MILL QUALIFIES WITH COORS BREWING COMPANY

 GOLDEN, Colo., May 13 /PRNewswire/ -- ACX Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ-NMS: ACXT) announced today that its wholly owned subsidiary, Golden Aluminum Company, has qualified to deliver body stock metal from its San Antonio mill to Coors Brewing Company. The San Antonio mill has received authorization from Coors Brewing to ship metal under the terms of a long-term supply agreement.
 "We are excited about our recent success and will continue to work with Coors Brewing to monitor the quality and consistency of our metal deliveries," stated Jeff Coors, office of the president. "We are working with other major can manufacturers to achieve qualification of San Antonio body stock material with those manufacturers. At this time, we plan to ship from 500,000 to 1 million pounds of body stock per week," Coors added.
