The keynote address "Health Care 2015: A Portrait and Path to Successful Transformation" will be delivered by Jim Adams, executive director of the IBM Center for Healthcare Management. He will describe a "win-win" transformation of health care systems, IBM's prescription for consumers, health care providers, payers and health plans, suppliers and governments.


Spend a day and a half with Barry C. Dorn, MD, MHCM and Leonard J. Marcus, PhD of Health Care Negotiation Associates learning about MetaLeadership: Connecting the Silos of Health Care. Their study of Hurricane Katrina breakdowns led to breakthrough discoveries on how to connect people, resources and information to revolutionize performance in health care.

Stop playing the waiting game! Learn how to improve to improve patient flow with Joni Steinberg, PhD, MPH, MS from Tulane University. Dr Steinberg will present a systems-thinking perspective on capacity management.

Ramayya Krishnan, PhD from Carnegie Mellon University will discuss emerging technologies as well as provide a framework to manage and generate value through digital transformation.
