ACPE offers new service to members.

Organizations across the country are looking at ACPE's new portal feature as a way to bring online networks and leadership training to their staffs.

Over 30 participants attending the College's Fall Institute signed up to receive a demonstration link to the new ACPE Portals. Several health care organizations are already using the feature to help them manage and communicate more effectively.

The ACPE portal is a free Web link that can be customized for each organization using it.

Portals include

* Private networks (similar to chat rooms) allow teams, groups, departments, positions and facilities to communicate in secure, online discussions.

* Portal participants can read up on the latest clinical information, abstracts and studies.

* Portal participants also can access a library of peer-reviewed articles, texts and surveys.

* Portals also include direct links to ACPE online courses in leadership and management that carry Category 1 CME, often at a lower rate than might otherwise be available.

For more information about ACPE Portals, including a free demo, please visit or call Tom Oravsky at 800-562-8088.
