ACORN VENTURE CAPITAL SIGNS A LETTER OF INTENT TO PURCHASE CONTROLLING INTEREST AND TO FUND OPERATIONS OF CARBURETION LABS INTERNATIONAL

POMPANO BEACH, Fla., April 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Acorn Venture Capital Corporation announced today that it had signed a letter of intent with Carburetion Labs International, Inc. (CLI) to purchase a controlling interest and to fund operations of CLI.
CLI is in the business of manufacturing and distributing alternative fuel technologies, including a CARB approved natural gas conversion system for diesel engines. Stephen A. Ollendorff, president of Acorn, stated that this investment presents an exciting opportunity for Acorn to become involved in a company which offers the operators of diesel fuel motors a flexible and cost-efficient means of complying with local, state and federal clean air act guidelines while maintaining the structural integrity of the diesel engine. Mr. Ollendorff also noted that the technology is patented and is the only diesel conversion equipment allowing for a true retrofit conversion which has passed all the emission tests and therefore complies with emission requirements imposed by both the EPA and the California Air Resources Board.
Acorn is a business development company whose stock is traded on the NASDAQ Small-Cap Market under the symbol AVCC. Acorn's primary objective is to obtain controlling interests in emerging companies.
