ACORDIA PROMOTES MEMBERS OF SENIOR MANAGEMENT

 INDIANAPOLIS, March 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Acordia, Inc. (NYSE: ACO), the nationwide network of insurance brokerage companies, today announced changes in its senior management.
 Keith R. Faller, 45, chief executive officer of Acordia Small Business Benefits, one of the operating companies that comprise the Acordia network, has been named an executive vice president of Acordia, Inc.
 Howard L. Korn, 61, who served as president of Acordia, Inc., has become vice chairman of the company's board of directors and will focus on assisting in the start-up of new Acordia operating companies.
 As part of the management changes, Acordia, Inc. chairman and chief executive officer, L. Ben Lytle, 46, has also assumed the presidency of the company. Commenting on the developments, Lytle said that "the changes reflect the evolution of a company that is growing, expanding into new geographic areas, and offering its clients a broader array of brokerage services."
 Acordia has been ranked the 10th largest insurance broker in the United States, and the 14th largest in the world. Acordia is a nationwide network of companies that provide insurance brokerage, claims administration and other financial services. Unique among brokers, Acordia serves the needs of clients in geographic, demographic and industry-specific markets. 1992 revenues were $207 million.
