 ACC SIGNS CONTRACTS WITH COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES
 Rochester, N.Y., July 15 /PRNewswire/ -- ACC Long Distance Corp. (NASDAQ: ACCC) (ACC), a wholly-owned subsidiary of ACC Corp., has signed multi-year contracts to provide long-distancetelephone service to students at six colleges and universities located in New York and Massachusetts. Taken together, these contracts are expected to provide ACC with initial annual revenues of approximately $2 million. This announcement was made today by Arunas A. Chesonis, President of ACC Long Distance Corp.
 Contracts have been signed with the following colleges and universities: Anna Maria College, Paxton, Mass.; Clarkson University, Potsdam, N.Y.; Elmira College, Elmira, N.Y.;Hamilton College, Clinton, N.Y.; New York Chiropractic College, Seneca Falls, N.Y.; and Russell Sage College, Troy, N.Y. Beginning with the 1992/1993 school year, ACC will provide a variety of service to students including outbound long-distance, operator-assisted services, and voice mail services.
 In commenting on the contracts Chesonis stated, "The contracts will run between three and ten years and in most cases, service will also be provided to campus administration, faculty, and staff. In addition to these contracts, ACC has signed letters of intent from nine additional colleges and universities indicating an interest in contracts of varying term lengths, beginning this school year. The university sector of the long-distance industry remains one of our major targeted areas for growth."
 ACC Long Distance Corp. is a subsidiary of ACC Corp., a diversified telecommunications company. Through subsidiaries, ACC Corp. provides long-distance telephone services in the United States and Canada and cellular telephone services in Kentucky.
