 ACC LONG DISTANCE CORP. TO WORK WITH REPUBLIC OF LITHUANIA
 ROCHESTER, N.Y., March 12 /PRNewswire/ -- ACC Long Distance Corp. (ACC) today announced that it is working with the Republic of Lithuania to improve that country's telecommunications system and increase international calling between Lithuania and the United States. This announcement was made today by Arunas A. Chesonis, president of ACC Long Distance Corp.
 The arrangement calls for ACC to market international long-distance services destined for Lithuania, to Lithuanian communities throughout North America. ACC is working within U.S. and Canadian laws to provide a financial benefit to the Republic of Lithuania's Ministry of Communications which will be used to help modernize that country's telephone networks.
 In commenting on the announcement, Chesonis stated, "Initially we are marketing this service to businesses and individuals with Lithuanian roots. Both the Lithuanian government and ACC hope the increased individual and business calling will lead to needed investment for economic growth in the new republic, and that by using ACC they realize they are benefiting their homeland financially."
 ACC Long Distance Corp. is a subsidiary of ACC Corp. (NASDAQ/NMS: ACCC), a diversified telecommunications company. Through subsidiaries, ACC provides long-distance telephone services in the United States and Canada and cellular telephone services in Kentucky.
