 ROCHESTER, N.Y., Sept. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Arunas A. Chesonis,

president of ACC Long Distance Corp. (ACC), a wholly owned subsidiary of ACC Corp. (NASDAQ: ACCC), today announced that ACC has arrangements to provide long-distance telephone service to students and, in some cases, administration, at nine additional colleges throughout New York State and Massachusetts, bringing the total number of colleges and universities served by ACC to 43.
Contracts have been signed with the following U.S. universities: Niagara University, Mount Saint Mary College, Gordon College, Bard College and Adelphi University. In addition, ACC is providing service to the following SUNY schools: SUNY Brockport, SUNY Oswego, SUNY Binghamton and SUNY Cobleskill. In commenting on the arrangements, Chesonis stated, "We currently service 43 universities and have letters of intent from several other colleges and universities indicating an interest in contracts of varying lengths. This marketplace will remain one of our major targeted areas for growth."
