ABR named to lease, manage 10 E. 53d St.

Abrams Benisch Riker, Inc./Colliers International Property Consultants (ABR) has been appointed exclusive leasing and managing agent of the HarperCollins Building at 10 East 53d Street by New Millennium Estates Ltd., as representative of a major foreign pension fund which became owner of the 38-story tower in late January.

The ABR leasing group of John H. Benisch, James C.B. Millard and John S. Isaacs will continue to oversee the project.

Built in 1972, the tower serves as the world headquarters for HarperCollins Publishers, once known as Harper & Row. Other tenants include New York Life Insurance Company, Shorewood Packaging Corp. and Foot-Joy Inc.
