With more than 25 years as a real estate professional, he has earned an outstanding, national reputation as a leading advocate for cooperative and condominium housing.
Carlson is the founder of Carlson Realty, a Queens-based management consulting firm and general manager of Fairview at Forest Hills, a 450-unit cooperative in Queens.
As testament to his commitment to the highest professional standards the real estate industry has to offer, Carlson holds such prestigious certifications as Advanced RAM (Registered in Apartment Management), RCM (Registered Cooperative Manager), HCCP (Housing Credit Certified Professional) and nyarm (new york accredited realty manager) all of which were attained through rigorous training and continuing education programs. In addition, he is a licensed real estate broker.
"Greg Carlson is an indispensable asset to the Federation," says Pennisi. "He is up on every piece of city, state and federal legislation that impacts the real estate industry and advises our board as to the benefits and pitfalls as each affects our members. ABO is fortunate to have his expertise and recommendations as well."
Mr. Carlson has been a long-time, active member of the ABO and was appointed to the Board of Directors just one year ago. His quick rise to the position of vice-president affirms his abilities and dedication to his profession.
