ABHC organizes two days Alumni reunion.

ABBOTTABAD -- On completion of 60 years of Senior Army Burn Hall College (ABHC) Abbottabad, the ABHC for Boys organized Alumni's Reunion at the college campus was held on July 8-9.

ABHC organized reunion after decades which also provided an opportunity to former students (Alumni) and the present lot to interact with each other.

It is pertinent that ABHC students include prominent names, who rose to the distinguished positions like Gohar Ayub former Foreign Minister and Speaker National Assembly, Wasim Sajjad former Chairman Senate, Akbar S. Ahmed, the director 'Jinnah Movie' and Chairman of Ibne Khuldun Chair Washington University, Ch Nisar Ali Khan Interior Minister.

Admiral Noman Bashir, Salman Bashir former Foreign Secretary, Retired Generals, Lt Gen Mumtaz Gul, Maj Gen Mahmud Durrani, Lt Gen Ayyaz Saleem Rana, Lt Gen Muneer Hafeez, Lt Gen Tariq Khan, Nawab Jahangir of Junagarh, Nawab Salauddin Saeed, the last Nawab of Amb State, Yousaf Ayub, Umer Ayub, a large number of MNAs, MPAs and former senior military and civilian bureaucrats went through the portals of Burn Hall still introduce themselves as proud 'Hallians'.

The colourful college reunion encompasses a host of activities, including cricket match, sports activities, formal dinner, musical program by famous Nescafe Basement Group and an extensive alumni council meeting with the college management.

The College has also planned to come up with a special publication on completion of 60 years of ABHC. Principal of the College Brigadier Wajid Qayyum Paracha and all faculty remained present in all activities and mingled with former students, recollecting and rejoicing their memories of the College.
