ABC NEWS VETERAN ROGER GOODMAN TO DIRECT WINFREY/JACKSON PRIME-TIME SPECIAL

 CHICAGO, Jan. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Award-winning ABC Television director, Roger Goodman will direct Oprah Winfrey's, exclusive, live, prime-time interview with Michael Jackson on Feb. 10, 1993, it was announced today by Debra DiMaio, producer of the 90 minute special.
 A 28-year veteran of ABC, Goodman is currently senior director of ABC news, where he is responsible for the look, music and overall design of ABC News programming.
 Winner of 18 Emmy Awards, Goodman has directed more than 125 special broadcasts for ABC News and Sports ranging from the highly acclaimed ABC News Town Meetings; to ABC News' extensive coverage of the Persian Gulf War; to ABC Sports' coverage of the 1980, '84, and '88 Winter Olympics. Most recently, he directed the 30 camera ABC News coverage of the Inauguration of President Bill Clinton.
