 ABB UNIT SELECTED FOR ARAMCO PROJECT IN SAUDI ARABIA
 STAMFORD, Conn., May 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Asea Brown Boveri Inc. (ABB)


announced today that a unit has been awarded a contract to help build grass roots oil production facilities under development by ARAMCO in central Saudi Arabia. The value of the contract to ABB was not disclosed.
 ABB Lummus Crest will provide engineering, procurement and construction management services for the complex located at Hawtah, about 110 miles south of Riyadh. Expected to be in operation by the end of 1994, the project will include a gas oil separation plant and associated water injection stations.
 In addition, ABB Lummus Crest is currently providing engineering, procurement and project management services for another major ARAMCO project in the Northern offshore fields of Saudi Arabia. That work, being done both in-Kingdom and out-of-Kingdom, will result in a large network of platforms and pipelines that are expected to be installed and commissioned by 1995. The company has worked with ARAMCO for more than 35 years supporting its development of oil and gas facilities in Saudi Arabia.
