AAMES INCREASES CASH DIVIDEND
AAMES INCREASES CASH DIVIDEND LOS ANGELES, Oct. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Aames Financial Corp.
(NASDAQ: AAMS) today reported that its board of directors increased its regular quarterly cash dividend to $.10 per share.
Gary K. Judis, chairman and chief executive officer, said the cash dividend represents an 11 percent increase over the $.09 per share dividend paid during the preceding quarter and will be payable Nov. 24, 1992, to shareholders of record as of Nov. 12, 1992. Judis said the board's decision to increase the cash dividend to an annualized rate of $.40 reflects the company's strong earnings performance and confidence in the future. The company is the parent of Aames Home Loan, which, through 22 branch offices located throughout California, arranges equity- backed first and junior trust deed financing.
