AAFP reveals physicians forced to switch EHRs.

The American Academy of Family Physicians Family Practice Management Journal has released a report that reveals physicians are being forced to switch electronic health records (EHRs).
The AAFP survey said only 39 percent of doctors are happy with their new systems. Respondents reported that among the reasons behind switching EHRs were decisions made at the executive level of the larger organization.
Authors of the survey indicate the sample was too small to suggest winners and losers in the EHR market, but EpicCare Ambulatory and Praxis had the most net gains in customers among respondents.
AAFP is a medical organization representing more than 119,500 family physicians, family medical residents and medical students. Learn more at http://www.aafp.org.
