AAAID introduces Vegetable Oils Company for investment for expansion purpose.
Khartoum, June 18 (SUNA) - The Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development (AAAIOD) has introduced the Vegetable Oils Company in Khartoum North for investment with the aim of expansion to exploit its full capacity at a cost of $ 13 million.
AAAID is planning to implement a project on oil extraction through the chemical menstruum at a cost of $ 2.5 million in an implementation period of two years, in addition to an engagement in partnership for provision of oilseeds (production input) at an investment cost of $ 10 million in an implementation period of three years.
AAAID explained that the expansion plan includes a project for plastic containers at a cost of 815,000 dollars, which encourages increasing of the amount of oils obtained because the factory will operate at its full design capacity, which is estimated at 45,000 tons per year, as well as refining of 18,000 tons of oil per year, production of 5000 tons of laundry soap, 3,000 tons of toilet soap and 600 tons of glycerol.
SUNAis to inform that AAAID is located in an area of 60,000 square metres in Khartoum North and it has oil mill, oil refinery, final products stores and manufacturing unit for oil containers. It owns 59% of the company shares and the Government of Sudan owns 41%.
