AAA APPOINTS TWO VICE PRESIDENTS

 ORLANDO, Fla., March 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Two vice presidential positions at the American Automobile Association were filled recently, one by promoting a company veteran and the other by reaching outside for an industry expert.
 Twenty-one year AAA veteran Dwight Conant, formerly group general manager of the Massachusetts/New Hampshire Division, has been promoted to vice president of AAA Divisions.
 Luis Fresquez has been named vice president and chief information officer.
 Conant will oversee all company-owned divisions, which operate 75 offices and serve more than four million AAA members in 14 states and the District of Columbia.
 Conant served on the boards of several community organizations in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, as well as the AAA Policy Committee and Committee of Club Officials. He is past chairman of the Northeastern Conference of AAA Clubs.
 With 18 years of experience in planning, coordinating and directing information services, Fresquez is responsible for developing and implementing information systems at AAA.
 Before joining AAA, Fresquez was vice president of computer operations for J.I. Kislak Mortgage Co., in Miami. Prior to that he was chief information officer for PPI Delmonte Tropical Fruit Co., Coral Gables, Fla.
 Fresquez held senior positions in information services with Burger King Corp. and Computer Sciences Corp.
 AAA is a not-for-profit federation of motor clubs with more than 1,000 offices providing its 34 million members in the U.S. and Canada with travel, insurance, financial and auto-related services.
