A.T. CROSS COMPANY APPOINTS STEVEN T. HENICK VICE PRESIDENT, WORLDWIDE MARKETING AND SALES

 LINCOLN, R.I., Nov. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Steven T. Henick, 51, an international marketing executive with experience in several major corporations, has joined A.T. Cross Company (AMEX: ATX.A), maker of fine writing instruments, to fill the new position of vice president, worldwide marketing and sales, Russell A. Boss, Cross president and chief executive officer, announced. Mr. Henick will report to John E. Buckley, executive vice president and chief operating officer.
 Mr. Henick came to Cross from Del Laboratories, Inc. where he had been general manager. Previously, he had served as president of ACTMEDIA, International, director of marketing for Procter & Gamble in Japan, and as vice president-international for Tambrands Inc. and for Atari Inc. He holds a B.A. degree from Columbia University and an M.B.A. degree from Harvard University Graduate School of Business.
 In announcing the appointment, Mr. Boss said: "The rapid growth Cross has experienced abroad in recent years and the opportunities we foresee within the U.S. clearly dictate the need for a broadly experienced executive to coordinate our marketing and sales on a worldwide basis. We believe Mr. Henick is uniquely qualified to meet this need."
 Mr. Henick, who now resides in Lloyd Harbor, N.Y., will be moving soon to Rhode Island with his wife, Bette, and their children.
