Remember the movie where the man wakes up every morning and ends up reliving the same day over and over again? Yep, here we are again, recovering from another week of freezing temperatures and snow on the pitches over the weekend.
And even as I type this the weather report for the forthcoming week is, yes, you've guessed it... snow!
How much more can we take? Okay so I'm being a wimp. There are dozens of European countries getting it far worse than us, and they do so every single year.
But for goodness sake, when will it end, we are only weeks away from the official start of spring.
But if you, like me, need a pick-me-up this dark and chilly Saturday evening then look no further than tonight's Gazette People.
There may be fewer pages of sport (blame the white stuff!) but there is all the usual favourites to keep you turning pages.
Congratulations to Bob and Christine on the front page this week. The caring duo have tirelessly served their St John's Ambulance crew for 70 years between them and remain as proud today as ever before of the fantastic organisation they represent.
I also love the pictures opposite of the staff and residents enjoying a sea shanty sing-along at the Shoreline Nursing Home, but I'm sure they're not the only ones having a great time at events across Teesside.
We'd love to catch up with your photographs, and give you the opportunity to see them in print - for free.
Anyway, enough from me, enjoy the rest of your weekend - and I'll hopefully see you here on these pages, next week!
