Derived from black pepper and produced using a proprietary distillation technique. Black Pepper Oil Distillate imparts warm, spicy, fruity notes, reminiscent of brown sugar and chocolate.
The distillate has the distinctive flavour of a black pepper oleoresin combined with the aroma of black pepper oil. Its solubility, clarity and pale colour mean it is easier to handle and use than oleoresin, which is dark and viscous. Black Pepper Oil Distillate can be used at low dosage levels, for example at just 10ppm in aqueous products, 75ppm in yoghurts and 50ppm in white sauce.
