A taste of Eastern promise at Matou.

THREE Liverpool partners have invested pounds 1.2m in developing Liverpool's latest dining experience.

The Matou Pan Asian restaurant has been opened on the top floor of the Pier Head's Mersey Ferry terminal by ex-detective Billy Riley, builder and designer Dan Boon and restaurateur Jacky Kwong.

With fitting sourced from China and Indonesia, it offers 125 covers, plus a further 55 in a private VIP dining room.

Mr Boon said: "We want to provide good service and good food, especially for corporate clients."
