A round for young golfers.

YOUNGSTERS in Rugby got to grips with the basic skills of golf on a course organised by the town's leisure bosses.

The children, aged between 10 and 16, learned the skills of the game in a week-long event at Leam Valley Golf Centre.

It was part of a package of activities for children organised by Rugby Borough Council for the summer holidays.

Other forthcoming events include canoeing, climbing, windsurfing and basketball.

Phone Terri Betts on 01788 533704 for details on any of the courses.
