A really bright idea; THE MAX FACTOR.

PIFCO is expanding its torch range with the introduction of a new Xenon Swivel Head.

It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use and features a powerful Xenon spotlight bulb - 125% brighter than standard.

The waterproof torch also features a tilt angle spotlight with retractable tripod stand, ideal for carrying out those jobs where both hands are required.

Operated by one 2D battery supplied, the torch costs pounds 11.99.

A MILEAGE chart to calculate the distance from one city to another and inset maps to help drivers through built-up areas, are useful features of the latest offering from Ordnance Survey.

The Great Britain 2002 Routeplanner map (pounds 3.99), with its scale of one inch to 10 miles, does more than merely outline the country's main road network.

It also shows the location of many difficult-to-find attractions including the Eden Project and Stonehenge in England, Scone Castle in Scotland, and Talyllyn Railway in North Wales.

OLD bangers everywhere can be saved from the scrapheap, says Holt Lloyd in launching its latest Redex Oil Additive treatments.

Redex say four new oil additives could give even a vehicle from the veteran's league a new lease of life.

The products, which cost pounds 4.99 for 400ml containers, help condition a vehicle's lubrication system and comprise Stop Oil Leak and Engine Flush.
