A raging Bluebirds; CHAMPIONSHIP Cardiff City 3 Sheffield Wednesday 2.

CARDIFF CITY manager Dave Jones took a leaf out of Robert De Niro's book and turned into a raging bull in the dressing room at half-time against Sheffield Wednesday.

With his side deadlocked at 1-1 at the interval, irate Jones read the riot act to his players.

And Jones' actions had the desired effect with two goals from Jay Bothroyd seeing the Bluebirds take all three points with a 3-2 victory.

"I was like a raging bull with them at half-time," said Jones. "I wanted a higher tempo, I wanted us to move the ball quicker, I wanted more forward passing and I wanted more runs."

"It was relaxing because we knew we were in the play-offs, but I wanted to keep our tempo and momentum going," he added.
