A quarter of Finns regularly buy organic products, but the number has not increased in a year, according to a recent Finnish survey.
The typical person who buys organic products is a female aged 35-50 with family, who is well educated and relatively well-off and who lives in one of the larger cities.
The survey also showed that organic products typically make up about 20% at the most of the daily purchases and that the most popular organic products include potatoes, vegetables, bread, dairy products and flour.
The survey was carried out for FinfoodLUOMU by Fennia Consulting.
