A night to never forget.

Byline: By Lydia Whitfield South Wales Echo

Doctor Who David Tennant was among the stars who turned out for a celebrity world premiere of Never Forget, the musical tribute to Take That, in Cardiff last night. With Cardiff being the first venue for the new production, Big Brother stars Laura Williams, Glyn Wise and Lisa Huo walked the red carpet at Wales Millennium Centre.

David Tennant, in town to film the new Doctor Who series, also attended but there was no sign of his co-star Kylie Minogue, despite rumours she was planning to turn up for the show.

The other stars included Footballers' Wives actress Sarah Barrand, who plays Shannon, and Ian Virgo from Band of Brothers and NCS: Manhunt along with a host of Pobol Y Cwm's cast. Penned by Danny Brocklehurst, Never Forget is based around Take That's hits although the band are not backing the production. It runs in Cardiff until August 4.
