A lotto money makes Carol Smillie.
For the telly golden girl is raking in record sums from making personal appearances.
She tops the guest celebrity league with telly's Mr Moaner, Richard Wilson, who has nothing to grouse about.
Carol and One Foot In The Grave star Richard can each command a whopping pounds 20,000 appearance fee.
TV newsgirl Viv Lumsden and chef Nick Nairn are also switched on to nice little earners.
But Scotland football boss Craig Brown is bottom of the league in the celebrity money- making stakes.
PR companies are wheeling out famous Scots for media launches, after- dinner speaking and store openings.
Nick Nairn can cook up a heady pounds 2,000, while Viv Lumsden and Gaelic telly star Cathy MacDonald make the news for pounds 1,000.
But Craig will play ball for between pounds 500 and pounds 1,000. One firm is advertising him as an after-dinner speaker. He's the cheapest celebrity on their books.
And they also say that he might appear for nothing if he feels the cause is worthy.
Craig, who says he never asks for a fee, adds: "I only do it if I have the time. If it is anything to do with football clubs, testimonials or charities I feel it is my job to do it and never get a fee."
