A little time can be so valuable; Your say.
You gave my family and I the opportunity to spend quality time together.
The recent fundraising success of the May Fair at Norton pays testimony to the generous and continued support of the local community.
Along with the sustained effort of the many volunteers, the dedication and outstanding care given by the doctors, nurses and all the staff to in-patients and day-patients, Butterwick Hospice is an outstanding example of compassion in its truest sense.
Currently many of us are 'cash poor' but 'time rich.' If you could spare a little time or use your skills by becoming a volunteer you could make a positive difference to your own life and the lives of local people.
As a former hospice volunteer myself I know this to be true. Whatever your talents - and especially if you are a tradesman who could do minor repair work - you would be welcome.
The services offered by the hospice to those patients and their families facing challenging and difficult times are beyond price.
Financial donations are always appreciated but, if that's not a realistic option for you, practical help is important too.
Please do what you can. You too can make a real and valuable contribution to Butterwick.
