For four days only, from 29th August to 1st September, a colourful
chameleon will be positioned on top of The Old Truman Brewery, bringing vibrant colour to the heart of East London. An incarnation of the brand's spirit animal, the chameleon is coming to the capital to pave the way for the arrival of nhow London in Shoreditch later this year.
- On 29th August, the chameleon will pay homage to London, travelling to iconic viewpoints and landmarks such as Trafalgar Square, St. Paul's and Tower Bridge, prior to arriving in Shoreditch, where it will climb up the chimney of The Old Truman Brewery.
- A personification of the brand's premise to #CHANGEnhow and uniquely adapt to any environment, the chameleon is guaranteed to draw visitors to the courtyard of The Old Truman Brewery, where they'll be able to snap pictures of the installation and win overnight stays at nhow London and other European nhow properties, including Berlin and Milan.
- An immersive light show will further draw Londoners' attention and guarantee that a spotlight shines on East London and the colourful chameleon.
- The chameleon will descend on Sunday, 1st September, to prepare for its onward journey to other new nhow properties in 2020.
London, August 2019: Matching the hottest new arrival on the London hotel scene in its boldness, a colourful, larger-than-life 8 metre chameleon will appear in East London for the duration of 4 days, to celebrate the opening of nhow London this autumn.
Only a stone's throw away from the location of the hotel, the chameleon will draw attention to the experiential and disruptive design concept that is characteristic of nhow. Set to delight visitors and residents alike and spread smiles across the city, the chameleon represents the brand's spirit animal due to its unique ability to adapt to changing environment whilst retaining its uniqueness.
