M2 PRESSWIRE-August 30, 2019-: A larger-than-life 8 metre chameleon to brighten the East London skyline, marking the arrival of the first; UK nhow hotel - London's hottest new lifestyle property

For four days only, from 29th August to 1st September, a colourful

chameleon will be positioned on top of The Old Truman Brewery, bringing vibrant colour to the heart of East London. An incarnation of the brand's spirit animal, the chameleon is coming to the capital to pave the way for the arrival of nhow London in Shoreditch later this year.

- On 29th August, the chameleon will pay homage to London, travelling to iconic viewpoints and landmarks such as Trafalgar Square, St. Paul's and Tower Bridge, prior to arriving in Shoreditch, where it will climb up the chimney of The Old Truman Brewery.

- A personification of the brand's premise to #CHANGEnhow and uniquely adapt to any environment, the chameleon is guaranteed to draw visitors to the courtyard of The Old Truman Brewery, where they'll be able to snap pictures of the installation and win overnight stays at nhow London and other European nhow properties, including Berlin and Milan.

- An immersive light show will further draw Londoners' attention and guarantee that a spotlight shines on East London and the colourful chameleon.

- The chameleon will descend on Sunday, 1st September, to prepare for its onward journey to other new nhow properties in 2020.

London, August 2019: Matching the hottest new arrival on the London hotel scene in its boldness, a colourful, larger-than-life 8 metre chameleon will appear in East London for the duration of 4 days, to celebrate the opening of nhow London this autumn.

Only a stone's throw away from the location of the hotel, the chameleon will draw attention to the experiential and disruptive design concept that is characteristic of nhow. Set to delight visitors and residents alike and spread smiles across the city, the chameleon represents the brand's spirit animal due to its unique ability to adapt to changing environment whilst retaining its uniqueness. Applying a similar logic, each nhow property absorbs its respective environment, resulting in unique and disruptive hotels. nhow London is no different and will charm visitors with its creative interpretation of traditional London landmarks and cultural icons.

And the chameleon is not only fun to look at - it might just be the ticket to a real-life experience of the nhow spirit, as visitors are offered the chance to win overnight stays in all European nhow properties via a variety of social and on-ground competitions. More information will be available under the campaign hashtag #CHANGEnhow, on nhow London's social media channels and from brand ambassadors that will man the Old Truman Brewery for the duration of the event.

"nhow London is all about vibrant design, bold statements and about having fun. What better way to celebrate our first UK hotel, with an installation that matches the hotel in its creativity and zeitgeist. The chameleon will serve as an exciting preview of the new hotel, giving people a first insight into what to expect from nhow London.", says Hermann Spatt, General Manager of nhow London.
